On the Street…. Codename: Element P, London

Like a shining jewel, Element P came walking around the corner. As the myriad of reflections from the giant Swarovski crystals hit my eye, I noticed the slowly undulating metal chains that made her cape shimmer like quicksilver in the afternoon light. It was then that it hit me. This outfit is a product of our post 9/11 existence. It is designed for the hunted-down urbanite in danger that needs to be well protected and on-trend 24/7.
This ingenious outfit works its magic in the subtlest of ways.
The faceted crystals and mirror discs reflect light in every direction, disabling even the most trained military sniper, while the chain-cape protects against high-level ballistics and the knit dress is painstakingly contoured and air-bag lined to create a safe impact area in case of direct collision with a moving vehicle or large flying object.
Bravo Element P, you are an example to all of us.
Fashion and anti-ballistic technology become one.
